I disagree,this issue of Ferris wheels in urban areas was brought up recently in the shards thread and i think gimmicks like large exuberant carnival rides do not belong in dense areas like Manhattan. Its a large tourist trap and i'm glad that this tacky trend will not be anywhere near icons like the ESB, Chrysler or the WTC. Just my two cents.
