One can hardly miss this landmark when viewing the Montreal skyline; especially during the night hours. Last Friday, I got lost while coming down Mont Royal. I eventually found my way on to Van Horn. However, thanks to the rotating beacon, I was able to find my way towards Downtown.
Was the rotating beacon added on a later date? If so, when was the addition of this rotating beacon?
