The Rideau store will be smaller than Edmonton's. When you factor in that metro Ottawa is fairly larger than Edmonton (and significantly larger than Quebec City), and that our high French population is already familiar with Simons, it would be logical for us to get that second store in Gatineau.
And yeah, I'm also hoping for a massive re-build of the Sears space so that Nordstrom has a important, welcoming presence to both the Mackenzie King bridge and maybe even the rooftop patio. I want a dramatic transformation of the space similar to Vancouver's Pacific Centre.
