According to http://www.burnabynow.com/business/More+highrises+Metrotown/7092315/story.html Boffo Developments is planning an apartment tower at 6225/6255 Cassie Ave which is the SE corner of Willingdon and Beresford. It would a nice addition if it turns out that the proposal is for that site.
