Agreed, seems like a completely isolated project that won't interact much with the rest of DTLA's continuously active core. Then again, good luck getting anyone to disagree with ANY redevelopment of that area. Someone could propose a 4-story phallus for the Toy District and we'd all be jumping for joy that DTLA is getting a new project.
