Obviously I'm a non-architect since I'm one of the heartless individuals who would have no problem tearing down the Hall of Records. I don't care for it nor do I appreciate it's historical importance. Preserve the mural, but that's it.

A park that size, that caps the freeway, and links such vital landmarks in Los Angeles would be huge for further development of DTLA - tourists, residents, and business. I could care less if the Hall of Records were torn down to accomplish a park like that.
