DENVER | 1650 Wewatta Street | 230 FT (70 M) | 21 FLOORS

Not too much has been going on in Denver recently that is of a significant height, though we have a ton of infill in the mid-rise range. However, this proposal for the Union Station redevelopment (more information HERE) is the first of several towers that will be popping up in the area (images courtesty of Denver Cityscape:

1650 Wewatta is a 21-story building with 300 apartments, 4 floor of parking (1 underground level), and 6,000 sq ft of ground floor retail. It is being developed by Holland Partners and the architect is Shears Adkins + Rockmore. The project is currently scheduled to break ground in Q42012.
