I remember seeing the Elephant Man in a theatre (in 1981, VCRs were still an expensive luxury) it may have been the Fine Arts. I saw "So Fine" there... sometimes "Fine Arts" was just a name. I recall walking down Robson St that night, when it was still mostly small local businesses.
