I always thought that the area around River Rock could be mini casino strip with a few more similarly sized competing casinos to create a true destination area.

Having said that I thought BCLC pretty much already met their limit on the number of casinos/slots/tables in this province they would license.

Unless the downtown casino moves there and expands I just dont see how this is possible right now unless BCLC is willing to give out more licenses. Not to mention that any new casino would I think want to be in its own area instead of next to a competing casino.

Plus I would be surprised if the casino licenses that are handed out dont come with some guarantee that a competing casino wont go and move next door.

Anyways interesting to see that someone is thinking of another casino there.
