To be precise, I did say
northwest, i.e., something similar to Rogers Centre's orientation. But even if Vancouver's park had to face further north (due to its slightly more northerly latitude), an open left field would still orient perfectly towards the dowtown core, preserving the essence of the picturesque scene I mentioned.
