I have heard that Simons has not been able to come to an agreement with the owners of St. Laurent, and has put plans to expand into the Ottawa market on hold for the moment. I believe the company's focus is now squarely on Western Canada, with new stores already announced for West Edmonton Mall and Winnipeg I think.
