Austin was ranked the 34th largest city in the U.S. by population, according to a new research from Business First.

New estimates from Business First put Austin’s metro population at about 1.8 million as of Monday morning. Based on current population growth trends, the study predicts the greater Austin region will add about 4,000 people by the end of the month
