it's sad when people have to resort to ignore lists. it shows that they can't deal with that person intellectually and/or emotionally. my opinions of la obviously bother some people tremendously. meaning they have enough substance to matter. i'll take that as a compliment.
others, they can see that i express an opinion of many opinions. being relatively objective individuals, they recognize it as their right to agree or not. those people i can respect.
citywatch - i won't mention a way to turn things around because i know that nothing will change without rail transit as the foundation for change. everything else is a load of b.s. doesn't matter how many ways you dress it up. once purple line reaches the westside and zoning laws get less stringent as a result (and wealth starts flowing downtown as a result) we can talk about real change as far as development is concerned.
me personally, i don't care for development for the sake of it. la can use some quality. there is plenty of money in development here. it just doesn't look that way. in that respect, you're right that appearance matters. la can use some help in both style and substance.
