Museum of Anthropology Finally Gets Reflecting Pool

Nice to see the last part of Erickson and Oberlander's design for the Museum finally put in place. I guess concerns about the weight of the pool on the cliffs were finally resolved. Maybe a forumer can get a picture this weekend.

After 34 years, Arthur Erickson’s original vision for the Museum of Anthropology has finally been realized.

A large “reflecting pool” was filled last Thursday on the museum’s grounds just outside the sweeping glass walls of the Great Hall, creating a feeling of seamlessness between indoors and outdoors and fulfilling the renowned late architect’s long-held dream..
