Obviously the new bridge (and the major changes to the highway on either end) are much better than the existing Port Mann, but a lot of Vancouverites would probably agree with you. The existing PMB is a style you dont see too much of anymore, and its replacement is rather ubiquitious. The new one is still a pretty cool looking bridge imo though.
