Me too, or I just go to any of the dozens of hotels here. I've never had a problem finding a cab so long as I'm willing to walk a block or three.
Maybe at 2am, but even then there are cabs constantly prowling. For a city of its size Calgary is surprisingly easy to hail a cab - except RIGHT after the bars let out at 2 during Stampede. That can take 2 hours to find a free one.
