With their merge with NWA, Delta has de-hubed Cincinnati and Memphis. Cincinnati has actually closed portions of the airport. I can see PDX going in the same direction and becoming a regional airport in a few year. Portland is a small market. Also, with the consolidation going on in the industry and Portland proximity to Seattle I don't see a bright future for PDX.
