A friend of mine posted on Facebook that the Mayor had mentioned (at a meeting or press conference) that the proposed multi-purpose sports arena might be built adjacent, or in the area of, our existing coliseum.
That thought gave me a cold chill. I agree with what almost everyone else has said, this facility should be downtown somewhere...
