Yes, and it must be downtown. The mayor talked about the sports event that had such a great time here that they want to double the size of the event next year. But that's because they enjoyed the venue being downtown.
BTW, if the state wants to waste $30M to "upgrade" the Garrett Coliseum, go ahead. But the coliseum offers nothing but a run-down neighborhood and no hotel rooms.
