Cool South Austin Hospital expansion - 128 feet - 8 floors

St. David’s plans $72 million expansion of South Austin hospital
By American-Statesman staff | Friday, January 15, 2010, 09:32 AM

St. David’s South Austin Hospital will undergo a $72 million renovation and expansion, with work to start in April.

It will be the second expansion in five years for the 252-bed hospital, at 901 W. Ben White Blvd. A 2005 expansion added 34 beds, a cardiovascular center and other features.

The hospital will be renamed St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, effective immediately.
