Who are these people who would prefer getting to the rest of the transit network via Port Mann? Commuters? Langley residents? Shoppers dissatisfied with Guildford and Willowbrook? I guess I just don't quite understand the need for LRT over Port Mann. Guildford isn't high density and isn't planned to become high density. It needs to be connected to Surrey City Centre first, doesn't it?

Yep, I would agree that a Skytrain extension to Guildford would be the best, if you're just building a short line I don't think a technology change is worth it, but people here have said that isn't worth the money. I don't know Surrey well enough.
I think the transit or rail over the PMB would be facilitating some kind of commuter rail downtown, that's why I suggested LRT to the WCE station.
Looking at a map it makes more sense to run LRT from KG station all the way down to White Rock, and another line out to Langley, but what do I know?
