Los Angeles Fire

Well the fire was getting damn close and I was thinking we were going to have to evacuate as it started coming down Mt. Lukens (we live at the base), but in the last 10 minutes (since downloading these pictures) the wind picked up and started moving this massive fire away from us. Hopefully that will be as close as this fire gets to us. Wind isn't good for the fire but right now it is keeping the smoke and flames away. Here are some pictures I took from my window and in my townhome complex:

From the bedroom window:




Out in the complex:









Flames appear at the top of Mt. Lukens and start coming down:








Right about this time a steady wind (I am sure generated from the fire) came from behind me and blew up the mountain starting to push the fire back up and away:
