Don't get me wrong, I have high expectations. It's just that I've come to expect these sort of bland, uninspired designs from Thomas P. Cox. I set my expectations very low for this project; I was expecting something far worse.
Yeah215, I also think a lack of inspiration was a factor in this instance. Keep in mind, other cities have much larger stocks of historic buildings. This provides inspiration to match the level of beauty and quality by using brick, stone, or whatever. I don't think stucco would be appropriate. We can't say the same for LA, however.
