It's 6:30 in the morning. You're stopped at a red light, listening to your favourite radio personality on News Talk Radio. You have the go-cup filled with coffee. Just another day right? How about the driver at 22nd Street West and Avenue W in Saskatoon Thursday morning. A man walks up to his window waving a knife and demanding cash. The suspect gets the driver's wallet and runs away. Police are now trying to track him down.

Couldn't the guy just drive away. What's the robber gonna do? Stab the car?
Anyway, I'm still new to this town, and tonight I decided to drive around and see where the wind takes me. I started from the Persephone and drove down Spadina. I had NO idea that you could go on the train bridge (there was quite the crowd there even at 10 PM), that there's a pedestrian bridge under the circle drive bridge, and that you could even go much farther north than that bridge. Sometimes, I find that people often don't know what there is to find in their own backyards. I'm bringing my camera next time.
