My biggest problem with Gallivan is that they have not defined what it is supposed to be. "SLC living room" is a pretty vague term. It seem like they want it to be an outdoor event venue. I kind of like how the 200 south frontage is open. I think the buildings would be better off tucked back along the south edge of the plaza so it enclosed the space better. I think it is a missed opportunity from a design standpoint. The restrooms are a great idea, but policing them is going to be a nightmare.
