A lot of Utahns who have religious influence love their music and their shows. They crave it. People who have seen Wicked in LA and traveled from Utah would definitely love it if it stayed longer.

Tickets didn't go on sale one day and then they were sold out the next. They went on sale one day, and within the same day they were sold out. My Dad tried to get tickets for my sister, but he had no luck.

A broadway-style theater is something that Salt Lake City definitely needs. Haven't we already discussed how much money it's going to pump back into the economy of SLC/Utah when it's all up and running? Are you guys forgetting that sometimes it takes money to make money? The money has to come from somewhere, so it's from the taxpayers then so be it. Eventually it'll come back to you, so you shouldn't have to worry about it.
