That's a nice expansion...
That new terminal makes me wonder what DIA is planning for their new terminal which will primarily serve passengers arriving and departing via Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) Commuter Rail.
It is to be the same size as the famous, "Jeppeson Terminal" (you know, the part that has the tent structure over it). The new terminal will be next to the existing terminal, just to the south of it. The Airports' subway transit line (which transfers passengers between the main terminal and the three concourses), will be extended south, into the new terminal.
So this new terminal at DIA will have the EMU commuter rail station which runs to downtown Denver's Union Station, plus it will be connected to the rest of the airport with a subway transit station.
This will be an interesting structure and should be completed by 2014. I can't wait to see what it looks like.
