These pictures are beautiful (thank you!) but you've really gotta see this one in person. It's super dynamic; driving by on the Edens affords an awesome sequence of views that gives you the sense the whole thing is changing shape-- thin slabs sliding past each other. (I can't tell you how many times I've almost gotten into an accident gawking at it...)

And I love the red balconies. They make for a more playful modernism, characteristic of all his buildings. My favorite is still probably Optima Towers in Evanston (Optima-ton?); it's really well integrated into its surroundings. But this one's definitely a winner.

The suburban location seemed to me a bit curious for a design so urban/urbane... then again, it is supposed to be something like a "community" in and of itself, so I'm guess it's creating all the urbanism it needs or something silly. Oh, well... now Old Orchard mall-- er, Westfield-- has a built in consumer base.
