Most (but not all) members here also frequent SSC. Anything significant there will likely be posted here; if it's not posted here, people who visit both sites will at least be aware of it.
I know many people criticize SSC heavily for being full of childish stupidity. However, I must confess that I really like what our mods, esp Hydrogen, have done with the Chicago pages. It has really become a very legit place to discuss projects, as opposed to a year ago where it was basically a giant versus war between every douchebag and his alter-ego in a different city.
Now what we have going on is a growing divide between the anti-NIMBY's and a small but growing NIMBY-sympathizing sect which has decided to stick around and give their input. It's unique and has created some interesting, although sometimes nasty debates. I have noticed the NIMBY infiltration more at SSC than at SSP. Either way, it adds an interesting element.
Anyhow, I'm sorry to get off topic. So to remain on-topic: AdrianX, I don't think the blue version of the tower is necessarily taller than the rendering that Steely posted. Of course, I"m too lazy to count floors and all..
