S. Waterfront gains residents

The Portland Business Journal - April 28, 2006

The first residents of the massive South Waterfront development project are in the process of moving in.

Residents in the east tower of the Meriwether condo complex can begin moving in today, though most will move in next week. It is estimated that 20 to 30 residents will move in each month.

The Meriwether was developed by Gerding and Edlen and Williams & Dame.

According to the Portland Development Commission, the riverfront property on the west shore of the Willamette River is the largest economic commission in Portland's history and the largest urban development in the nation.
