Having friends with high donation limits in the foundation pays off. Here are some updated models/art for the new expansion. The stuff Mopacs posted is good, but thats for the completely finished DKR, who knows how long that will be.
Couple of things worth noting:
1) it would apear they are going to do some Facade work on the West side of the stadium (the giant uperdeck) to make it look more like the rest of the stadium. Very good news because burnt orange bricks > concrete.
2) Although the uperdeck will stop short of connecting to the west side deck (makes sense, its alot bigger) the luxury boxes WILL be connected from the west side all around to the east side. That is probably why they are redoing the west side luxury boxes this year.. they are exanding them out.
3) We will now have the 9th largest stadium in the country, up from the 17th. Official seating figures for the new stadium will be 91K. We are currently right at 80K, even though we pack in about 86K-88K for a home game. 10% seems to be a good figure to add on to the official seating when counting all the people in the stadium without a seat.. so game attendence will aproach 100K, but likely fall short.
Threaded Mode
