It is my understanding that they will run off the SaskPower grid at least initially but the back-up/supplemental generators will run off TransGas gas. I assume this will like Interpro Steel deal with SaskPower, their electricity can be throttled by SaskPower when there is a system shortage or outage. Bell will then replace or supplement the grid power with their own generation.
I suspect they would eventually look at their own utility-scale gas-fired generating station, but that would take years to plan and build.
