there is some question as to the height of what will be built across the street, that is the three former river north towers plans, due to a few complaints, but something will be built there. the issues are tearing down the houses and blocking the existing towers views. those complaints could be overcome, but its harder in staten than the other boros as its smaller and so squeeky wheels whining down island are louder.

otherwise, everything new on the latest renders directly along the waterfront where the nywheel was supposed to be will likely be built eventually. the height there is not an issue. its not going to be jersey city tho.
