I think it’s strange Regina hasn’t gotten a CPL team yet,m.
I’d rather see the CFL start a rival soccer league of their own under the same CFL brand with all 9 teams having soccer teams with the same branding/ name as the Canadian football teams.
The CPL is just in its infancy still, so the CFL could very well challenge them, or lead to merger or relegation system.
