Yes. Family doctors are especially ripe for the picking as the demand is high and supply is short. There’s also a ton of private practices they can join. My message earlier was focused on specialists. You’ll be losing one of those very shortly too.

One of the items Qc is waging war about is mobility. Bill 2 imposes significant financial and other accreditation penalties on doctors who leave the public system. This is why you’re seeing not just departures, but relocations. Those doctors are better off moving altogether to avoid this authoritarianism.

Last statistic I heard was nearly 400 doctors having applied for licensure in other provinces. Those are catastrophic numbers. The top oncologist in all of Quebec has left.
