^ that has been propsed forever. ain't no money for that, nor would anyone out on long island want it.
on a related note i did watch a video just yesterday about a couple crazy guys going from grand central to boston via transit across long island. it can be done, with plenty of difficulty, if you can stay up all night and have almost a whole 24hrs to spare lol. but what really caught my eye was the long island to block island ferry was twice the cost of the block island to point judith ferries. they are just rocking nyc city dwellers $$$ out there.
