Pre-Security: 2 spaces adjacent to the bleachers, which were presumably deliberately left vacant while the area in front of them was being used as a temporary exit lane
Concourse B: Two spaces (combinable into one) near the new exit lanes don\'t seem to have any announced tenant.
Concourse C: Vino Volo near C16 appears to have closed within the last few months; I think there may be a vacant space adjacent to Timberline, where I think Pendleton was before moving
Concourse D: looks like there might be a vacancy between the new Washington Park convenience store and the Escape Lounge.
Concourse E: Two spaces (combinable into one) near the new exit lanes don\'t seem to have any announced tenant; there\'s a new vacant space between gates E1 and E2; a shell space for a new lounge, the same size as the forthcoming Alaska Lounge, is also vacant

Southwest appears to be changing all sorts of operational approaches toward industry-typical, from assigned seats to a new flight map. This is apparently related to poor recent profitability and actions by a major shareholder.

PDX is doing ok compared statistically to a lot of airports. It's a legit hub. Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Cincinnati for example don't have hubs, and are in the 10 million passenger range. San Antonio and Kansas City are only 11-12.
