Dollarama as affordable grocery, is this woman insane? Affordable crap maybe. I member when the bakery closed, the news said a Foodland was going in there, obviously that didn't happen.

Someone should acquire the empty Guillevin Electric building almost right behind this, on the corner of Adelaide and Horton. The main building is 16,000 sq ft. The listing says 41 parking spots, but there is also an 8000 sq ft old warehouse in the back that could be taken out for more parking if needed, or used for some other type of business the neighbourhood could use. Given the size of these new No Frills that have popped up around town, this would be a decent enough size for a neighbourhood food store. The building is pretty old and low ceiling but you don't need a Superstore here.
