The rezoning was approved by the Planning Commission. The City Council still has to approve it because they have final say on all zoning changes. Large projects like this typically take two CC meetings to get approved on all three readings. But amazingly enough, there has been no opposition to this project yet. So CC approval should not get dragged out. Site plans would be submitted after CC approval and take maybe two years to approve. The developer stated at the PC meeting that buildings on the site would not be completed until 2029 or 2030.
