45.4% out of 11,065,813 eligible, registered voters. Absolutely pathetic turnout, particularly considering the Ford government's scandals (Greenbelt, Ontario Place, Ontario Science Centre, etc).

3/4 of Niagara's ridings went NDP. The other, West Niagara is a PC stronghold held by Dutch Reformed Christian, Sam Oosterhoff.
(West Niagara is the religious part of the region).

Bonnie Crombie's Liberals were so inept that 2/4 of the candidates they propped up didn't even live in Niagara. One was from Hamilton and the other Toronto.
I knew Crombie was a total dud when she was quoted as saying something to the effect of she didn't realize that running for leader of Ontario would be so difficult
It's only a province of 16.2 million people and growing.
She lost her riding but is currently refusing to step down as Ontario Liberal leader.
