Looks like the federal election will be the one to kick us off. With Jagmeet aiming to bring down the government likely during the last week of January or first week of February, looks like we'll be at the polls sometime in early/mid March.

I've been trying to keep up with nominations, but I haven't been able to find the nominations list on the Elections Canada website (yet).

Liberals will need nominees in:
- Central Newfoundland (CPC held seat)
- Terra Nova - The Peninsulas (C. Rogers not running again)
- Avalon (K. McDonald essentially blacklisted from LPC)
- Cape Spear (S. O'Regan not running again)

Conservatives have nominees in place for all districts except Labrador and Cape Spear, unless I've missed the Labrador nomination announcement. For Cape Spear they have candidates vying for the nomination.

NDP have only nominated Mary Shortall for St. John's East as of now, unless once again I've missed the nominations. NDP do end up being late for nominations, and outside of the St. John's seats will likely not end up fielding viable candidates.
