So, just to recap the storefront situation on the main block of Osborne (between River and Stradbrook):
97 Osborne St (old Into the Music): Still vacant.
100 Osborne St #107 (old Village Beauty Hub): Renovations are ongoing. I peaked in today and it looks like they're painting and doing millwork right now. The building permit posted in the window says it will be a "take-out dessert/coffee shop."
106 Osborne St (old Unique Bunny): There's a sign saying it's been leased. Hopefully something new will move in soon.
109 Osborne St (old Shop Take Care): Still vacant.
111 Osborne St (Small Mercies): It looks like they're getting close to reopening. Been seeing lots of activity inside recently.
120 Osborne St (old Tweed): Still vacant.
133 Osborne St (old Basil's): Under renovation. Lots of work happening there lately. Stud walls are in and rough-ins are being done now. Will be Welcome To Shirley's when renovations are done (looks like a cocktail bar).
135 Osborne St (old Basil's): Under renovation (same as above). Will be a gourmet grocery store called Made By Paste when renovations are done.
So in summary, there will be 5 new businesses opening soon and 3 storefronts that will still be vacant.
