Only the "3rd mildest" December in Montreal. Mainly due to the very cold start.

‼️Historic December in #Canada! 🥵
➡️ Warmest ever recorded [sometimes by a huge margin] in Calgary, Regina, Saskatoon, Kenora, Churchill, Resolute, Cambridge Bay, Alert, etc.
➡️ 2nd warmest in Vancouver (0.05°C from its warmest) & Toronto.
➡️ 3rd warmest in Montreal & Winnipeg.

-4C today (wind chill of -9) and mainly cloudy. We did have some sunshine early in the day. I woke up at 11 so not sure before that but there was some sunshine until about noon.

Low of -7C (wind chill of -11) this morning.

The warmspot was Cumshewa Island, BC at 9.1C.

Warmest low was Herbert Island, BC at 7.5C.

Needless to say those are the warmest highs/lows reported this year.
