The Sunningdale Road and Richmond Street intersection improvements project is scheduled to take place next year.

This project includes:
- the widening of Sunningdale Rd from 2 to 4 lanes through Richmond between Villagewalk Boulevard to Redford Road
- the reconstruction of Richmond St from Villagewalk Boulevard to Uplands Drive
- new in-boulevard asphalt bike paths and concrete sidewalks
- new underground infrastructure, including storm sewers.
- new median islands, curb, and gutter
- new street lighting and traffic signals
A virtual meeting is scheduled on January 15, 2024 on Zoom, which will include visualizations of the road improvements
