Pro-rent control, anti-development DSA politician, Ramirez-Rosa could potentially be replaced by Vice Mayor Walter Burnett, the guy responsible for greenlighting Fulton Market projects.
Depends who the replacement is but Ramirez-Rosa out is a positive thing.
Also there were rumors that Ramirez-Rosa was stalling zoning changes to retaliate against other alderman. So no bueno.
