Yep, this is going to be the headquarters of Pyrrha, the jewelry manufacture that the forum always seems to forget. Hopefully the metal shingle cladding, and the sculpted metal figures in the courtyard space are still in the plans too.

at first, I thought it was a Firehall, but the windows threw me off. the tower seems kinda small to be useful but its kinda neat.

It's wood construction as far as I have seen, but quite slow progress.

This is neat, I'm a fan of tall and skinny projects like this. Helps maintain a diverse and interesting urban fabric as opposed to consolidating entire blocks for mega-developments. The Mount Pleasant industrial area seems to be doing this right, a lot of small-scale redevelopments happening. I'm curious about the economic factors that make them viable there.

Hoping the final product on this one turns out looking good!

Would certainly be cool to see and contribute to the liveliness of the neighborhood, but I like that there is still some residential land uses mixed in. I wish the zoning allowed for more to be built, since without new residential the area is only going to lose its excellent diversity of uses.

What intersection is that suppose to be?

And is that a height that is expected to be allowed along Main Street with the new Broadway Plan? That is far higher than what is allowed right now.

it looks cool. i wonder how these mass-timber buildings will do for sustainability into the future. will they require so much wood that forests will be over harvested? should be interesting. though concrete isn't exactly eco-friendly.

i doubt the CoV would relax just because of the building type. maybe if they were willing to throw in some below-market rental they'd have a better case.
