One of the best parts about living in Vancouver is the ability to view B&B Scale Models’ craftsmanship in their “fishbowl” at Granville Island. Their skill is known far & wide, as shown by this depiction of Seattle’s 1200 Stewart St, who’s galleria will contain a full-sized 747
It was a delight to be invited into B+B Scale Models Granville Island workshop to view the 1200 Stewart St model before it shipped to Seattle earlier this month. There were some things left to finish, but the painstaking details, like the stocked store shelves, were incredible. As such, it’s likely the demand for their work will continue to grow south of the border. However, until we can safely visit Seattle, to see the full sized 747 housed in its galleria in person, we’ll patiently wait in Vancouver & dream of weather protected public spaces.
