that one i know about, though i dont see that happening anytime soon. i know from someone who used to work for CoV that was told, back in the mid 1980s, that the block in question would be turned into a new City Hall within the decade (the 80s). its only been, what, 30+ years?

i heard a rumour that new City Hall, on that block, has also been shelved once again. big surprise there.
though i do think they should go to more WFH. i imagine the CoV spends a lot on leasing office space. just thinking of their building on the North West corner and wherever else they have offices that they most likely have. i assume they have a lot of office space elsewhere, because the City Hall building is fairly small looking.
