If you are not burned by fire, you won't feel the pain. Had I bought other plans in this building, I will not take the trouble to complain. Being first time buyer and first use of this forum, I am sorry I miss use its intention. But I feel helpless as to how to expose this unethical and purposely deceitful developer. Condo building is more than building externally pretty concrete structures, it is people's lives and their investment. Now I see through the seemingly external camouflaged building. I see my distorted dream. I am not one armed with loads of cash to invest.
Despite my friends warning me about this developer.I trusted Thind and put my faith in them by giving them a benefit of doubt.
I have since created a different thread : Metro Vancouver condo builder accountability. Hope I will not get into trouble there. Thank you all.

Has any Waterfall owners heard from the developer to schedule their orientation walk-throughs yet? Their most recent email said it'll be done by end of June, but I still haven't heard from them to even schedule one.

Yes. That’s for a parking space. This is commonly done in Burnaby with all new developments.

Just got a call from MLA Complete, the Marketing Team for the Lumina. They said that this weekend is the last week for the home orientations of the Starling building. For Waterfall, they will be sending out invitations for home orientations next week or the week after depending which floor you are on. Also, the estimated completion date for Waterfall is still end of July/early August.

Hmm that can't be right. We bought at Starling and have not had an invitation for orientation. I checked with my realtor, she said that so far they've only done north-facing units (perhaps some others) but have not gotten to the south side (or at least Southeast which is where our unit is facing).

I didn't expect them to do home orientations based on the directions of the unit rather than floors. They told us that it would be staggered by floors so my assumption was that they would schedule the home orientations from the lowest floors up to the highest. Even the completion notice will follow the same pattern. It doesn't look like Waterfall will be scheduled within a week or two (as they have claimed) if the Starling home orientations are still not done.

Unless you're willing to match Waterfall's below original price sales, you have no chance of selling unfortunately. Tough place to be in with the higher second tower prices. I wish I had better news for you.

Back on topic, the buildings and development are looking nice, in my opinion.
