I read the article and I saw it as positive spin by elected officials to drum up more business. Having said that, the town has come a long way since I moved here 27 years ago.

Your right, on that. My son lives in Summerside, and I've always had a special attachment to it since I have many friends there. I asked the question to my son and he said there is some development and new things coming online. Nice to see but there is some feedback that the Credit Union Place is pulling the city down financially. Just some Summerside folks were bringing that up online.
BTW, did they ever do anything with the old Holland College building on Granville? I spent a full year at college there. Last I heard it was still there. Any indications of development in that area?
My son also said that Starbucks is no longer in Summerside! What happened there?
